What is Cultural Identity? The definition of cultural identity is the influence of ones culture on the development of identity. Cultural identity sparks many questions to those who are affected by it.
1. a feeling of being an outsider
2. a sense of cultural confusion
3. not knowing for certain where their home country is
When we move away from our original place of culture we begin the process of adapting to the setting we have come to. Where we notice things are done differently and similarly between cultures, we observe and our perception of the culture teaches us to adapt to learn and expand from what we already know and have learned.
